Welcome to PhorMinis Munich! We are a bilingual German-English kindergarten that supports children from their earliest years in crèche right up to the start of school. Our educators accompany early learners with heart, commitment and joy. Within a nurturing and safe environment, we spark children’s curiosity, nurture their courage, and open their hearts to others. These experiences empower little explorers to grow into confident, independent, and compassionate young people. All of this takes place in a vibrant bilingual environment, where German and English are an integral part of the children's day-to-day life.
Our goal is to empower children to grow and flourish through play-based learning that nurtures both their linguistic and cultural development from the very beginning of their educational journey. We aim not only to strengthen each child's language abilities, but also to cultivate empathy, curiosity, and self-confidence alongside gross- and fine-motor abilities, supporting your little one in body, mind, and heart. Your child will learn German and English through the immersion method. Our educators speak consistently in their native language throughout, promoting natural language acquisition in both languages.
Our educators use targeted learning activities to promote your child's development in a purposeful and structured manner. At the same time, there is plenty of room for free play, an essential arena for creativity, initiative, and self-expression.
In age-appropriate groups, your child can learn, play and develop at their own pace alongside their peers. Our educational activities are carefully tailored to each developmental stage, fostering not only cognitive growth but also social skills, self-confidence and joy. In the final kindergarten year, we prepare children for school in dedicated preschool groups.
From the moment your child joins PhorMinis, you become part of the Phorms community. We accompany families along a seamless and well-coordinated educational pathway in a caring and supportive environment. We pay particular attention to smooth transitions between the different stages of education, ensuring that every child feels secure, supported and guided along the way.
In a safe and nurturing environment, we attentively accompany children from 18 months to three years of age as they take their first steps into an exciting, multilingual world full of discoveries and encounters. From gentle settling-in to targeted early learning, we accompany every child on their journey. An open and trusting partnership with parents forms the foundation of our approach.
Each of our two crèche groups accommodates 12 children, who are warmly cared for during core hours by three qualified educators per classroom.
Children aged three to five experience a stimulating, learning-oriented environment in our two kindergarten groups, each with 22 children, where play and learning blend harmoniously. Through joyful discovery, we promote the cognitive, social, and motor skills of each child as well as their independence. Consistent routines and trust form the foundation of our educational work.
Our teaching teams, with three German- and English-speaking educators per group, interweave a bilingual environment with hands-on inquiry for the children’s daily life. Through the immersion method, early learners at PhorMinis Munich grow up naturally bilingual.
In their final kindergarten year, children are supported in their overall development through targeted learning activities, enabling them to enter Year 1 with confidence, strong social skills, and the essential foundations for learning. Free play continues to hold an important place in the daily routine.
A particular focus of our preschool programme is on language development in both languages. Early learners are offered a wide range of group and individual activities to enrich their literacy foundation, tailored to the needs of each child.
We currently have three preschool groups, each with 22 children, warmly and competently guided by teaching teams of three qualified educators.

Our facility cares for a total of 134 children across three different age groups:
∙ Crèche (Krippe):
Children aged 18 months to 3 years, cared for in two groups of 12
∙ Kindergarten:
Children aged 3 to 5 years, cared for in two groups of 22
∙ Preschool (Vorschule):
Children aged 5 to 6 years, cared for in three groups of 22
Each group is guided by a team of three educators: one German-speaking teacher, one English-speaking teacher, a third teacher who speaks German and/or English.
New children begin their PhorMinis journey at the start of the school year in August/September.
If places become available during the school year, we contact families from the previous year cycle’s waitlist and offer admission.
