School year and daily schedule

As a state-recognized grammar school, we follow the school year and holiday calendar of the Free State of Bavaria. The school year at our institution is divided into three trimesters. At the end of the first two trimesters, students receive progress reports, and at the end of the school year, the usual annual report card. Classes of our full-day school take place from 8:15 a.m. until 3:45 p.m., mostly organized in double periods. A school day consists of 8 teaching periods and one lunch break. Supervised study times are included into the schedule, where written homework is generally completed at school up to and including seventh grade. Every week there is also a scheduled "Class Teacher Time," during which teachers and students discuss general class and school issues and receive social and digital competency training.
