MINT/STEM

Our Primary School follows the Bavarian curriculum. In addition, elements of the Cambridge International Primary Programme are incorporated, in particular within the English language programme.

All students from Years 1-4 engage in STEM activities across all core subjects multiple times throughout the year, enriching their learning with hands-on experiences. Our programme offers a wide array of opportunities, including exciting competitions like the Biber, Kangaroo, PANGEA, and HEUREKA. Students also enjoy STEM-related field trips that enhance classroom learning: Year 1 explores hieroglyphics at the Egyptian Museum, Year 2 learns about road safety at the Traffic Museum, and Year 4 attends the FabLab for hands-on engineering. All students participate in the "Hour of Code" annually, building foundational coding skills, and frequently use iPads to support their learning. Through project-based activities in Werken and Gestalten, they creatively apply STEM by constructing clocks, designing calendars and lamps. Additionally, our Dash Robots encourage teamwork and problem-solving. These are just a few examples of our diverse STEM activities, with new opportunities continually added to inspire our young learners.
