Phorms Primary celebrated World Book Day on Thursday, May 3rd by reading the non-fiction picture book "We Travel So Far", written by Laura Knowles and illustrated by Chris Madden. It is a book about various animals who migrate - 'Small stories of incredibly giant journeys'.
On World Book Day students listened to the story, then created art, poetry, and stories centered around the theme: 'Journeys'. Students could enter the World Book Day contest with their creations. It was a huge success with a variety of beautiful and thoughtful entries!
