Orange Group took a trip to the museum “Fünf Kontinente”

This week on Tuesday, Cultural Diversity Day, the Orange Group took a trip to the museum “Fünf Kontinente”, even with the not so nice weather. We saw a lot of interesting things from different places around the world. We started with a discussion about different places in the world and how countries are on different continents. Then we ventured into the exhibit on Africa, we got to learn about the history of the continent and the people that live there and looked at some different art. Then we looked at the North American exhibit and learned about Native Americans. The kids got to crawl into a small fort to have a look at a model of a Native American tribe and where they lived. We also got to see a bow and arrow and learned how they got their food. To finish we had a look at some things from South American Culture. The kids had a wonderful time and were all very tired and hungry after a day full of excitement.
