“On Tuesday, children’s book illustrator Stephanie Lunkewitz presented her book ‘Ich war Eva Diamant’, which she developed in close collaboration with Holocaust survivor Eva Szepesi. It tells the story of Eva’s childhood up to her liberation in Auschwitz in January 1945. The powerful reading for grades 10–13 ended with Eva’s appeal to the younger generation:
‘Listen and pay attention — and intervene when you see injustice happening.’
