Benjamin Britten. The Münchner Rundfunkorchester performed at the Funkhaus München
„Time There Was“, a suite on English folk tunes and “The Young Person´s Guide to the
Orchestra”.
The performance was tailored to a young audience. A narrator led through the programme
told a children´s story during the first piece as well as announced all the names of
orchestra instruments and their sections while the orchestra performed “The
Young Person´s Guide to the Orchestra”.
The concert was very well received by the young audience
