On Friday, June 24, all three Year 1 classes went on a field trip to Wildpark Poing. We got very lucky, as the weather was perfect for a day outside. The kids really enjoyed the chance to see the animals up close, and each child received a bag of food so that they could even feed some of the animals themselves! After exploring the park, we took a break for lunch and had some time to use the playground. It was very warm so the teachers treated the classes to some ice cream. Afterwards, we explored the park a bit more before heading back to school. It was a wonderful day, enjoyed by all.
