Ausflug in das Museum Mensch und Natur

Recently, Year 4 have visited the Museum Natur und Mensch at the Nymphenburger Schloss.  As we have been studying states of matter and weather it was a good opportunity for the children to show what they had learned and apply their knowledge too.
We started the day by learning about the earth and its beginnings. It gave us context to how and why there is water on our planet. We were then shown about the different types of water on the planet too.
Later in the afternoon, we conducted some experiments and learned about how water, when in different states, can behave differently.
We finished our day by having some free time to explore the museum. We had a lot of fun.
