We want children to develop self-confidence and motivation for their future educational path. Therefore, we offer a preschool programme during the last year in Kindergarten. Through this programme the children are being well prepared for the entry into the 1st year level at the Phorms Primary School or any other primary school. Inthree preschool groups the children are slowly made familiar with the school routines. Each group is looked after by three teachers. The preschool teachers are in regular exchange with the Year 1 primary teachersof Phorms. All of the rooms have an interactive whiteboard. While the focus of the daily schedule is still characterised by play-oriented activities, the children start learningto sit still and to concentrate more by carrying out little projects.
